About Buy or Veto
A calm place to ask “Should I buy this?” and get Support or Veto from strangers — then wait 24 hours before you decide.
What this site is
Buy or Veto is a crowd decision plaza. You post a product you are considering, people vote Support or Veto with optional reasons, and a cool-down timer encourages reflection.
Anonymous by design
There are no accounts in this MVP. You pick a nickname when you post, vote, or comment. We use a visitor cookie to prevent double-voting on the same post — not to build a public profile.
Not financial advice
Nothing on Buy or Veto is financial, investment, or professional advice. Votes and comments are opinions from visitors. You are responsible for your own purchases, budget, and research. Prices shown as “around …” are approximate ranges, not live quotes.
Official starter posts
Some early posts are published as BuyOrVeto Team to start discussions on popular items. They begin at zero votes so real visitors can Support or Veto. They are labeled clearly on the post page.
