Buy or Veto helps you pause before a purchase. Post what you want, hear Support or Veto from the crowd, wait through a 24h cool-down, then decide.
- Post — Describe the product, approximate price, why you want it, and alternatives you are considering. Nickname only; no account required.
- Vote — Visitors cast Support or Veto (once each) and can leave a short reason. Comments are welcome for nuance.
- Cool down — A 24-hour timer runs after you post. Use it to sit with the feedback instead of impulse-buying the same day.
- Decide — When the cool-down ends, buy, wait, or walk away. The crowd is a signal, not an order.
Why a cool-down?
Wanting something often peaks right after you see a deal or a review. A short pause reduces regret: you can re-check budget, duplicates you already own, and whether a cheaper alternative is enough.
