Is Buy or Veto anonymous?
Yes for this MVP: you choose a nickname when you post, vote, or comment. There is no account login. A visitor cookie stops double-voting on the same post.
Can I delete my post?
There is no self-serve delete yet. Use the report form if something should be hidden (spam, scam, NSFW), and moderators can hide it with the admin tools.
How do I report spam or abuse?
Open the post and use “Report this post”, or Report next to a comment. Give a reason so we can review faster.
Why is there a 24h cool-down?
Wanting something often peaks right after you see it. The timer is a nudge to sit with Support/Veto feedback before you spend.
Are votes financial advice?
No. Votes and comments are opinions from visitors. Nothing here is financial, investment, or professional advice. You decide.
Why do some posts say BuyOrVeto Team?
Those are official discussion starters so popular “should I buy X?” topics have a place to vote. They start at zero votes and are labeled on the page.
Can I vote more than once?
No. One Support or Veto per visitor per post. You can still comment.
Do prices list exact current store prices?
No. Prices are approximate ranges shown as “around …”. Always check the seller for live pricing.
What categories can I use?
Tech, Home, Fashion, Fitness, Travel, Gaming, and Other. Pick the closest fit when you post.
How does search work?
Use the header search box. It matches product name, why-buy text, alternatives, and nickname on active posts.
